Still in that post viva delerium... getting weirded out by people calling me Dr! Anywho I've been at the parents all week as they're away and I'm dogminding. Big dog is now old dog and suffering a bit from incontinence - last night was a record breaking night where I had to get up three times to let her out... poor old thing. Small dog is reacting well to the new behaviour training scheme she's on. When I say reacting well I do, of course, mean sulking. But it is very effective. She woke me up with her usual antics in the middle of the night only once this week, in this case I said "stoppit" and she actually stopped it. How unusual!
In other things the job seems to be progressing a bit. I've moved office and we've had a reshuffle of the workload has been moved from me, freeing me up to do some research based work. I'm still doing accounts (the laundry of the workplace) but apart from that the role is hopefully going to be better for me, and my frustration levels!
Not much else - going on a weekend away soon and really looking forward to it... It might even be the first weekend where I have officially nothing to do (I often do nothing on a weekend, however I'm usually supposed to be doing something!)

I often do nothing on the weekend but actually am meant to be doing something too. . . must be something all the best people do. . .
"Dr" sure sounds very, very grown up!
Doing nothing on weekends is nice... just wish I didn't feel guilty after that (planned to service the car and get the tooth extracted yesterday... )
that's the weirdest thing - doing nothing on a weekend, then feeling guilty, and then wondering if there is anything I should be doing. Of course I could clean my apartment and take my xmas tree down!!
